Dear Friends,

I am deeply honored and humbled to serve as the new President and CEO of Serve the Global Church. This is not just a role—it is a calling that has been intricately woven into the fabric of my life and ministry journey. As I step into this position, I am excited to continue the incredible work of serving and supporting local Christian churches in their Bible translation initiatives.

For me, this mission is profoundly personal. My life purpose has always been to see God’s Word made available in its fullness so that all may become mature in Christ. From my earliest days as a summer missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship to my years of service with New Tribes Mission, Wycliffe Associates, and Pioneers, God has continuously drawn my heart to the critical need for His Word to be available to every person in their heart language.

I firmly believe that God’s Word is transformational. One of my greatest joys is seeing Scripture come to life for others, whether through teaching, study, or the distribution of translations that empower believers to encounter God in a personal and meaningful way. The work of Serve the Global Church directly aligns with this vision, and I am thrilled to lead this organization in advancing Bible translation efforts around the world.

On a more personal note, my family is the greatest earthly gift God has given me. My wife, Nancy, has been the love of my life and my partner in the ministry since our teenage years. Together, we have navigated this journey of faith and service, and she continues to inspire and encourage me daily. We are also blessed with two wonderful daughters, both married, and five amazing grandchildren who fill our lives with joy and laughter.

Outside of ministry, I enjoy playing guitar and drums, reading, and exploring the great outdoors through golfing. These activities provide refreshment and remind me of the beauty of God’s creation and creativity.

Professionally, my journey has been diverse and enriching, encompassing over 30 years of full-time ministry service. From roles in finance and operations to leadership positions such as Vice President, COO, and Interim President/CEO, I have had the privilege of stewarding resources and strategies that support the global church. Along the way, I have pursued education, earning an MBA, a PhD in Biblical Studies, and becoming a CPA—all with the aim of better serving God’s Kingdom.

As I begin this new chapter with Serve the Global Church, I am deeply burdened yet immensely hopeful. The burden comes from the knowledge of how many people still lack access to God’s Word in their own language. The hope comes from the partnerships, innovation, and dedication of local churches around the world, which continue to be the hands and feet of Christ in this important mission.
