Bible Translation Training & Support

Millions of people still do not have access to the Bible in their heart language. STGC is dedicated to changing this reality by working through local churches and ministry partners to equip and support Bible translation teams.

How We Help

• Training & Resources: STGC provides funding for training, equipment, software, and translation resources.
• Local Church-Led Projects: We believe Bible translation should be led by local churches and communities, ensuring ownership and long-term impact.
• Affordable Impact: With an average cost of just $3,500, a new Bible translation project can be launched for a language group.
• Global Reach: We are currently serving translation teams in 10 countries.
• Translation Progress: Our partners have reported 250 completed New Testaments and 36 completed Old Testaments, with hundreds more in progress.

Impact

"Naipdan Global Concept is committed to reaching out to the unreached groups, particularly minority languages and vulnerable communities in Nigeria, with the gospel of Christ through Translation, Literacy, and Language Development. We are grateful to Serve the Global Church for the great support and sponsorship of a MAST Bible translation workshop for seven languages.

The participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to hear God’s Word clearly in their language for the first time. The support included training tools such as laptops, Mifi and SIM cards, flash drives, extension cables, and bags—everything needed to empower them to continue this mission."

Emergency Assistance

In times of crisis, Bible translation teams and Christian communities often face severe hardships that threaten their ability to continue their work. STGC provides emergency assistance to partners in urgent need.

Ways We Help

• Relocating Teams from Conflict Zones: When war threatens the safety of translation teams, STGC provides relocation assistance to ensure their work continues in a secure environment.
• Providing Relief from Drought & Water Scarcity: Many of our partners work in regions where drought and lack of clean water create daily struggles. We support relief efforts to provide sustainable water solutions.
• Medical Supplies for Vulnerable Communities: We assist partners in providing essential medical supplies to communities with little or no healthcare access.

Every church and community has unique needs. STGC responds by providing customized support to local partners based on their specific context, ensuring they have what they need to effectively translate and share God’s Word.

How We Support Local Churches

• Printing Completed Translations: Once a translation is completed, we assist in printing and distributing Bibles so communities can access God’s Word.
• Providing Solar Panels & Equipment: Many churches and translation teams work in areas with limited electricity. STGC provides solar-powered solutions for lights and translation devices.
• Leadership Training & Development: Strong leadership is key to successful Bible translation efforts. We equip church leaders with training that strengthens their capacity to lead teams and disciple their communities.
• Strategic Planning for Success: STGC partners with churches to create strategic plans that help translation teams complete their work efficiently while equipping them to train other communities to begin their own Bible translation projects.
